Removal of Rubber Tyre (Tire) Marks from the Concrete Floor in One of a Major UK Retailer's Warehouses

Global Advantech’s next generation of rubber deposit and tyre mark remover is used for warehouse, distribution centre and manufacturing unit floors. This  non-hazardous product is now used by major food, pharmaceutical, electronics, aerospace and distribution companies, since it rapidly removes unsightly and unhygienic  rubber deposits from floors and safety markings.

The largest food and household goods retailer in the UK had been searching for a product to remove unsightly and unhygienic rubber tyre deposits left by high volumes of forklift truck traffic in its distribution centres to improve the cleanliness. To comply with safety legislation the company had to either clean or repaint all the safety marking on the floor.

The two photographs below show the effectiveness of Heavy Duty Rubber Deposit Remover CM700 in cleaning away rubber tyre marks from a smooth concrete floor at one of the retailer’s distribution centres (in the North West). The CM700 was applied neat to the heavy rubber tyre deposits and left for 5 minutes before being removed with scrubber-drier machine.

  • It can be seen clearly from the second photograph that the line markings were not damaged by the application of the product.
